The Curriculum

WHAT YOU'LL
LEARN.

Classes are structured around progressive skill-building — from the fundamentals up. Here's what you'll develop:

Stance and Footwork Moving efficiently, staying balanced, and creating angles to attack and defend from a strong base.
Punching Combinations Jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts with proper mechanics, timing, and follow-through.
Kicks Teep (push kick), roundhouse, and low kicks developed for power, accuracy, and practical application.
Elbows and Knees The weapons that make Muay Thai unique. Devastating at close range and essential to the complete striking game.
Clinch Work Controlling the tie-up, breaking balance, and attacking with knees and elbows from the clinch position.
Defense and Counters Blocking, parrying, slipping, and responding with counters that turn defense into offense.
Pad Work and Partner Drills Developing timing, power, and flow with a partner through structured rounds on the pads and drill work.

Common Questions

MUAY THAI
FAQ.

None at all. Our fundamentals classes are built for complete beginners. You'll learn stance, footwork, and basic strikes in a welcoming, no-pressure environment before anything else.

One of the best. A typical Muay Thai class burns 600–900 calories while building strength, coordination, and cardio. You'll get fitter faster than at a traditional gym — and you'll actually enjoy it.

Not until you're ready. Sparring is always optional and always supervised. Most beginners spend months developing technique before any contact — and many students train purely for fitness with no sparring at all.

For your first class, just wear athletic clothes — shorts and a t-shirt. Once you're training regularly, you'll want hand wraps and boxing gloves. We'll point you toward what to get and where.

Yes. Muay Thai is one of the most practical striking arts for real-world self-defense. It teaches you to use fists, elbows, knees, and kicks effectively — plus clinch control if someone grabs you.
